Benjamin O. Fordham
Professor of Political Science
am a professor in the Department of Political Science
at Binghamton University (SUNY).
My primary research interests are in the domestic political and economic
origins of foreign policy decisions about international conflict, especially
the use of force and military spending in the United States. I teach courses
on American and comparative foreign and national security policy and on
international relations more generally. I received my Ph.D. in 1994 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The
purpose of this web page is to provide information about my research and
teaching. You can obtain data I used in my published research, and read
some of my current work in progress through the links below. If you are one of my students, you can access
course information through the Blackboard
page for your course.
