Deep Springs Road Quarry

A shale pit located on Deep Springs Road approximately 4 mi west of Earlville, Madison County, NY.   The Windom Shale Member of the Moscow Formation, Hamilton Group, Middle Devonian (Givetian)i s exposed here with a distinct upward coarsening in quarry, with a shift in fauna.
