Students majoring in Political Science who meet certain criteria have the option of writing a Political Science honors thesis. An honors thesis gives students the opportunity to pursue a question in political science of particular interest to them and represents the culmination of a studentís academic career. Students must be of senior standing when the honors thesis is completed. Graduation with honors in Political Science requires the successful completion of a thesis, which includes an oral defense.
Political Science majors who meet these criteria are contacted in April of their junior (standing) year and are invited to a general informational meeting.
