While I know some of you aren't in the Computer Technology program‚ the Computer Studies Department Chair emailed me this information‚ which can be found on Page 55 of the Course Catalog:

BCC Computer Recommendation

As a final comment on some of my practices:

“There are two kinds of critics in life: those who criticize you because they want you to fail, and those who criticize you because they want you to succeed.”

Review the VBA Project List and email your lab instructor by November 8th with your project choice. Remember‚ the projects are assigned “first come‚ first served”. You ARE NOT assigned the project until you receive confirmation from your lab instructor!

To view the code for the VBA function in Triangle1.xls you must expand the Modules folder and then double–click Module1.

Use the following as a guide to laying out your Basic Trigonometric Functions spreadsheet for Lab 7.

Use the following as a guide to laying out your GPA spreadsheet for Lab 6. It doesn’t have to match exactly‚ but should be similar.

How Stuff Works

Only use your BCC email to send me assignments. I missed some emailed items causing me to regrade some assignments. YOU WANT TO MAKE GRADING EASY FOR ME! Also‚ apparently BCCToday email doesn't save your attachments in the Sent Folder. Use Zeus mail to avoid this.

Starting with Lab 5‚ the answers to the end of lesson questions will no longer be emailed to your lab instructor. From now on‚ you are to complete the questions PRIOR TO LAB. They are to be printed and submitted at the BEGINNING OF LAB. If this isn’t done, you will lose 10 pts off your lab grade.

It is recommended that you read (& complete) the tutorial associated with the lab assignment to get more familiar with the skills to be learned.

Start looking at the calendar in BCCToday for upcoming events.
