The collision of two SDSR loops produces a sterile, static structure whose shape is different from that of ordinary loops. Since SDSR loops can continue their self-reproductive behavior for a long period owing to structural dissolution, they are faced occasionally with rare conditions which can produce such merged loops by direct interaction of phenotypes. |
