Who Are We?

This is the official site of the Mindfulness and Acceptance Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).

Goals

Provide a forum to members for the development and dissemination of a behavioral science infused with mindfulness and acceptance theory and practice - including the discussion of current controversies in these areas, limitations of current research, and directions for future research.

Provide information for training in mindfulness and acceptance schemes.

Foster collaboration and free exchange among researchers and clinicians.

Create opportunities to network with colleagues sharing common interests.

To Join

To formally join the Mindfulness and Acceptance SIG, you must be a Member or Student Member of ABCT. You can join the SIG by completing a short application available on line. To join, follow this link to complete the application.
