Illness

You should not report for duty if you have an illness that may endanger your patients, or that prevents you from safely and effectively engaging in your tasks and your learning. MPTO can and should be used in case of illness. On rare occasions when a prolonged illness causes a student to exceed the 3-day cumulative MPTO limit or the per-RCEA MPTO limits shown in the Table above, the following apply:
