grants1. 2016-2021 Co-PI, AKS Lab Grant: Korean at the Nexus of the Northeast Asian Linguistic Area (with John Whitman at Cornell University), Academy of Korean Studies (AKS). 9/1/2016-8/31/2021 ($1.4 Million) (AKS-2016-LAB-2250004) This grant provides five book publications and fifteen journal articles in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, with a team of ten members and operates half of the grant at Binghamton University.
2. 2011-2016 PI, Core University Program for Korean Studies, Academy of Korean Studies (AKS). 9/1/2011-8/31/2016 ($909,706) (AKS-2011-BAA-2103) This grant provides four monographs from four Korean studies faculty, two edited volumes and four staff positions (CKS Coordinators and IEGI staff) including two faculty lines (North Korean Literature, Immanuel Kim and Korean Language, So-Jin Moon) in Korean studies.
