Artificial Societies of
Intelligent Agents
The ASIA project's goal is to develop Artificial Societies of Intelligent Agents.
The stages of the project are:
- An Action Selection Mechanism for each agent, which can be seen as a Behaviours
Production System.
- Simulation of a simple agent (animat) and it's environment.
- Our approximation to a Behaviours Virtual Laboratory.
Where we developed a society of simple agents (predator/prey animats).
- Socialization between agents using imitation and induction of behaviours.
Most of the information about this project can be found in Carlos Gershenson's thesis, but specific parts are discussed with more detail in some of
our publications.
